Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last Updated and Effective Date: February 2026
Operated By: Fikirizma Media (Antalya, TĂĽrkiye)
Website: www.freepdf.co
Designated Copyright Agent: [email protected]
Fikirizma Media (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our strict policy to respond to clear, legally valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable international intellectual property laws.
This Copyright & DMCA Policy outlines the information required to submit a valid infringement notice and explains our operational procedures regarding user-uploaded files.
1. Nature of the Service (The 24-Hour Deletion Rule)
CRITICAL NOTICE TO COPYRIGHT OWNERS: FreePDF is a temporary document manipulation tool, NOT a file-hosting, cloud-storage, or peer-to-peer file-sharing platform.
All user-uploaded documents (User Content) and their resulting processed outputs are stored in encrypted, temporary cloud buckets and are automatically, permanently, and irreversibly deleted from our servers within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours after upload. We do not provide public URLs for users to share files with third parties. Therefore, persistent copyright infringement via user uploads is technically impossible on our infrastructure. If you suspect a user has processed your copyrighted work, please understand that the file has already been permanently purged from our system within 24 hours of the action.
2. Infringement Notices (DMCA Takedown Procedure)
If you are a copyright owner, or an authorized agent thereof, and you believe in good faith that any permanent content hosted on our website (such as our blog posts, website UI, code, marketing materials, or logos) infringes upon your copyrighted work, you may submit a formal takedown notification pursuant to the DMCA.
To file a valid DMCA takedown notice with us, you must provide a written communication (via email) to our Designated Copyright Agent that includes all of the following:
- Physical or Electronic Signature: The signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., a link to the original authorized work or a registration number).
- Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, including the exact URL(s) on www.freepdf.co where the material can be found. (Note: We cannot accept generalized claims without specific URLs).
- Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of Accuracy and Perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Please send your formal DMCA Notice to our Designated Agent at:
Email: [email protected]
(Subject Line: “DMCA Takedown Notice”)
3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that your content was removed (or to which access was disabled) as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notification. To be legally valid, your Counter-Notification must be a written communication sent to our Designated Agent containing the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the specific URL at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal or state courts located in Antalya, TĂĽrkiye (or your local jurisdiction if required by law), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If the complaining party does not notify us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, we may restore the removed material at our sole discretion.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, FreePDF has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
5. Liability for False Claims (Section 512(f))
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to significant legal liability, including liability for actual damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees incurred by us or our users. If you are unsure whether material on our Service infringes your copyright, we strongly suggest that you contact an attorney before sending a notice.
