This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth the strict guidelines, rules, and acceptable practices for using the www.freepdf.co website, its APIs, document processing tools, and all related infrastructure (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Fikirizma Media (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This AUP is an integral part of our Master Legal Agreement and Terms of Service. By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you explicitly agree to comply with this AUP. If you violate any provision of this AUP, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, without refund, and we may report your actions to relevant law enforcement authorities.
1. Fair Use and Resource Exploitation
FreePDF is designed for manual, human-driven document processing. While we offer “Pro” subscriptions with high limits, all usage must be reasonable and not place a disproportionate burden on our infrastructure. You strictly agree NOT to:
1.1. Automated Abuse: Use automated scripts, bots, headless browsers (e.g., Puppeteer, Selenium), scrapers, or unauthorized API calls to bulk-upload, bulk-process, or bulk-download files.
1.2. Bypassing Limits: Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate the daily free-tier limits (e.g., the 3-file conversion limit) or maximum file size limits (e.g., 100MB for Free, 1GB for Pro) by utilizing Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), proxy servers, TOR networks, IP rotation, or clearing browser local storage/fingerprints.
1.3. Account Sharing: Share your Pro account credentials (email and password) with multiple individuals, publish your login details on public forums, or resell/rent your account to third parties. Each account is for a single user (or a single authorized corporate entity).
1.4. Denial of Service (DoS): Deliberately overload, flood, spam, or mail-bomb the Service, or attempt to crash our servers or storage buckets by submitting excessively complex, corrupted, or malicious PDF structures (e.g., “Zip Bombs” or “Decompression Bombs”).
2. Prohibited, Illegal, and Harmful Content
You are solely responsible for the content of the documents, images, and texts (collectively, “User Content”) you upload and process using the Service. You explicitly agree NOT to use the Service to upload, process, store, generate, or transmit any User Content that falls into the following categories:
2.1. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): We have a zero-tolerance policy for CSAM. Any detection or reasonable suspicion of CSAM will result in the immediate preservation of your metadata (IP address, timestamps) and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Interpol, and local law enforcement.
2.2. Forgery and Financial Fraud (Critical):
Using our editing, text replacement, or watermark tools to forge, alter, or falsify official documents. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Forging or altering government-issued IDs, passports, driver’s licenses, or visas.
- Falsifying bank statements, tax returns, utility bills, or financial records for the purpose of fraud.
- Removing legally binding watermarks, copyright notices, or cryptographic digital signatures with malicious intent.
2.3. Malware and Cyber Threats: Uploading documents that contain viruses, trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, malicious macros (e.g., in Office-to-PDF conversions), or any other harmful code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
2.4. Intellectual Property Infringement: Processing, distributing, or modifying documents that infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, or other intellectual property rights of any third party without their explicit and verifiable consent.
2.5. Hate Speech and Harassment: Uploading or generating documents that promote violence, terrorism, illegal acts, discrimination, hate speech, or harassment against any individual or group based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality.
3. Enforcement and Termination
Fikirizma Media reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this AUP or misuse of the Service. In our sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, liability, or refund, we may take any of the following actions if we suspect a violation:
- Immediate Suspension/Termination: Permanently terminate your Pro account, revoke your license to use the Service, and permanently block your IP address or device fingerprint.
- Content Deletion: Immediately purge any User Content or Processed Outputs associated with the violation from our servers.
- Law Enforcement Cooperation: Cooperate fully with local and international law enforcement authorities (e.g., Interpol, FBI, Turkish National Police), including disclosing your IP address, email address, usage logs, payment metadata, and the nature of the violation.
- Legal Action: Take appropriate civil or criminal legal action to recover any financial damages, server costs, or reputational harm caused to Fikirizma Media by your actions.
4. Reporting Abuse
